A system that centres moulds exiting the cooling tunnel using servo-controlled robots after twisting, and transfers them off the line with vacuum suction cups.
On chocolate production lines, chocolate moulds exiting the cooling tunnel first enter the mould-twisting stage. The twisted moulds then move beneath the robot unit in the next step, where they are lifted and centred. Plates fitted with suction-cup layouts matching the mould arrangement then use a servo-driven system to lift the chocolate out of the mould and transfer it off the line.
The robot conveyor and robots are manufactured with servo control. Mould changeovers require no mechanical adjustment; settings can be made from the operator panel using the recipe system. The vacuum system is sourced from DVP (Italy); the servo motor from Omron (Japan).
