An inclusion placement solution for chocolate moulds using a gripper-based feeding system.
The system works as follows: hazelnuts placed in the feeding unit are dropped onto the vibration unit by a vibrating sieve. Broken hazelnut pieces unsuitable for feeding are collected in a gathering tank to be eliminated from the system. When whole, sound hazelnuts arrive at the open-mouthed hazelnut holders, the holder closes; this closing occurs when opposite-pole magnets come together. The tray holding the hazelnut holders moves along a linear axis toward the guide on the side. Hazelnuts are then fed into the mold through the guide, made of plexiglass tubes shaped to match the chocolate mold. The equipment is designed with worker safety in mind.
