At ŞÖLEN Chocolate's facilities, the OZMO Fun product is arranged in 8 variants using 4 delta robots and Cartesian axes.
In this project, the OZMO Fun product manufactured at ŞÖLEN Chocolate’s facilities is produced in two groups across 8 different variants. To achieve the required order in the final packaged product, the products are pre-buffered ahead of the packaging machines, then sorted and routed by type and arranged by the robots. This project uses 4 delta robots, along with Cartesian axes built to feed them. It is one of the most complex projects achievable with a robotic system.
The 4 different products arriving from the production line are first buffered through stock management. Each product type is routed so that each robot always receives the same type. As a result, the packaging machines are able to arrange consistent, ordered box layouts from products that arrive from the system in mixed order.
